MESSAGE FROM PASTOR
We have two new web sites for the church. ChurchNews will have the weekly news, the same news you get in the Trinity Reminders. However, there is an important addition. On the side bar, there is a place you can enter your cell phone number and your carrier and we will be able to send prayer requests to your cell phone. Of course, it will cost whatever your carrier charges for a text message. It seems that everyone uses text messaging and this will be a way for us to share prayer needs in a timely manner. This will also be useful during emergencies like hurricanes when it seems that the only thing that works is text messaging.
You can get to the site by going to the churches website and clicking on ChurchNews. Or you can go directly to it by using:
http://pumpkincenter.org/ChurchNews/ Please note the capital C and NAlso, we have the new BaptistMen sight. It will be used for Baptist Men information. But on that site you can sign up to receive text messages as well and we can use it to remind the men of the church to attend Baptist Men’s breakfast. You can go there directly from the church web site or you can go there directly at:
http://pumpkincenter.org/BaptistMen/In both cases, it is up to you to add your cell phone number–there is no name associated with the number by the way. We will not automatically add you number but we can add it for you if you request it.
